Park Guell – Barcelona

 

Antoni Gaudi had the master plan to give Barcelona a wonderful amusement place named as park Guell. It has the amazing stone carvings, sculptures and beautiful buildings telling the story of their artistic approach. The entire place is the unique example of inspiration if the natural shapes and working with stones. Park Guell history is rich like the many other places of the world. When the idea of the construction of the park emerged the different trees like olive and carob were already grown there. Many other species were introduced among which most of them were picked which required less water to grow. First it was the private estate where the people used to purchase their private properties late rit was converted into the park. There are many park guell facts which are associated with its hundred years history.

The artistic creations of Gaudi, ceramic seating areas, ceramic walls and pillars can be seen with the entrance fees from 5 Euro to 8 Euro. The tickets for the park are separate from the museum. Some parts of the park are free to enter where as some places like the collection areas and gallery also have charges.
